We headed out to a place called The Bangor City Forest and Orono Bog Boardwalk.
The boardwalk is a spectacular 4,200-foot long platform through a raised peat bog.

Chris thinks we've been to this bog. I can't remember. I know we had walk that included a bog on one of our vacations, but honestly don't remember in which state. However, since his memory is much better than mine, I'd have to say it's likely we've been there if he says so!
