They like a mix of open fields and wooded or brushy country. The lower legs and feet are black, and the trail has a white tip. This little guy was pretty wet. There was a lot of dew on the grass this morning.
It’s pretty rare to see these amazing creatures. We watched him until he disappeared into the brush.
So pretty. We saw a fox once trotting down the side of a road -- can't remember which vacation, but it was up in the NE. The fox was walking towards us. I kept going and made a U-turn when I could because we wanted to take a picture, but we didn't see him again. It looked as though he took that route all the time!
