Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica)
A life bird for us!
A couple of years ago, when we were in Oregon, we saw Tufted puffins. These little Atlantic Puffins are just as cute!
They nest on islands where nesting sites are provided by crevices among the rocks. They can dive up to 200 feet but they usually forage within 50 feet of the surface.
