Spring has Sprung!

We are spending a few weeks at our home in Medina before we head back to Colorado.  The wildflowers are starting to bloom here in the Texas Hill Country and we've seen plenty of butterflies as well.  But when I heard a familiar call, I knew to go out and look for a Summer Tanager.  Sure enough, he was visiting our birdbath and exploring the Live Oaks.

    I had an indigo bunting pay a visit to the Hard Rock Bird Cafe yesterday. ;)
