I've got a couple of new afghans ready to donate to Linus. I think this will be almost 30 afghans that I've crocheted so far this year.
I'm not finished with this one yet but I'm planning on keeping it for myself. I made one like this a couple of months ago and donated it.
So, addiction or hobby?
Why don't we just call it a whole lot of fun!
I would say there is that fine line between......
ReplyDeleteThey are really beautiful and I know a lot of work but if you enjoy it, why not!
I enjoy it very much. And, it makes me feel good to be doing something useful.
DeleteSounds like a win-win. A way to keep yourself busy with something you enjoy and do good for others at the same time. They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great past-time to me. A great contribution to someone who needs them (and the love that goes into making them) as well as keeping oneself busy and out of the fridge ;-) I'm working on the 4th pair of socks and I don't even wear socks here... but my granddaughters will love them when I can get those socks back to the States. Love your couch full of colorful yarn! I'd be arranging it by projects I want to do.... Love your photos of your work!
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is a great hobby to have. Sometimes I think I enjoy buying the yarn as much as I enjoy making things! Your granddaughters are very lucky to receive hand knitted socks!
