In the park

We're getting ready for the Aroostook State Park Birding Festival that is on the 18th. Mark has been asked to lead birdwalks - starting at 5:00 a.m.! He has been walking around the park with his camera and keeping track of what birds are around.

    Oh my God, you have to be UP and able to SPEAK at 5:00 a.m.?! Lord, I could never lead anything at that time of day.

    Mark, are you using manual or auto focus on these bird shots? -Rick

    Hi Rick - when Mark dropped his camera one of the things that broke was the ability to manual focus. So, all the pictures since then have been auto focus.
    He's decided to wait till we get back to Texas before sending his lens for repair.
