May 31 - June 1, 2010, Rifle Gap, Colorado

May 31 - Since we didn’t have very far to drive today (160 miles), and didn’t have reservations, we left Shady Acres, UT about 9:00 a.m. It was a pretty easy drive to Rifle Gap State Park, Colorado. This is a pretty small park. There are 14 RV sites in this section. It's very pretty with mountains all around and a beautiful, clear, blue lake.

June 1 - We drove up to Rifle Falls this morning. It turned out to be a delightful hike! We even saw a Yellow-bellied Marmot.

Standing on a bridge over the falls.

Lots of caves around the falls.
