S. Llano River State Park, Junction, Texas

We have arrived.

We have a beautiful RV site.  It’s outside the maintenance area and well away from any campers (perfect!).

This is a wonderful park in the Texas Hill Country.  We have stayed here many times but this is our first time volunteering.

Our official title is Maintenance Hosts.  We have been assured that there are a lot of things to do to keep us busy.

With 2,600 acres, 22.7 miles of hiking trails, and over 250 bird species recorded in the park along with the largest turkey roost in Central, Texas, it’s going to be a very fun 3 months.

Stay tuned!
