There are still many projects on our list of things to do.  Bathroom #2 - remodel, replace kitchen sink, install water filtration system, seamless rain gutters will be installed in 2 weeks, etc.

The carpets were cleaned after these pictures were taken.  They did a great job.

The rock guy is still working on the outside water feature.

We have started painting the inside of the garage.  Why is it builders never paint the inside of the garage?

That's it for now.  We still have plenty of projects to complete.

  1. Looks very nice. What year was it built? Is it in a neighborhood? Did you install hookup for trailer?

    1. The home was built in 2005, and is in a small neighborhood (approx. 30 homes) with most on 3 - 6 acre tracts. No hookup for the trailer (yet) but we are planning one.

  2. Looks like it has a lot of windows/natural light. Will be fun to make it your own. Or at least fun when it is all done.

    1. It does have great views and light in every room. We are working on making it our own, but it is taking some time!

  3. I was also going to comment on the number of windows as a real plus. If you were in a packed neighborhood, you would need to many windows shades to gain privacy, but on such a big lot you probably already have that. Can you see another house from any window?

    1. There is one home across the road that can be seen through the trees from the front room. But it is over 100 yards away, so no real privacy issue there.
